A Classic Highland Single Malt
Glen Ranoch Special Reserve is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottled at 40% ABV by the Glen Ranoch Whisky Company. Matured in oak barrels, this non-age-statement release reflects the approachable Highland style that gained popularity during the late twentieth century. Presented with its distinctive stag label and traditional styling, it remains an increasingly uncommon proprietary Scotch whisky brand that is seldom encountered in Australia today.
Although never positioned as a premium limited edition, surviving examples have become progressively harder to source outside the UK. For collectors of discontinued Scotch whisky brands and lesser-known Highland bottlings, Glen Ranoch offers an appealing glimpse into a style of everyday single malt that has quietly faded from the market.
