About the Bottling
This Auld Goonsy release offers an individually selected view of Inchgower through a single-cask, cask-strength presentation. The combination of American oak maturation and a 12-month second-fill Oloroso sherry finish adds another layer to the distillery character without relying on a heavily seasoned sherry cask. With only 302 bottles released from cask #805697, it is a distinctive small-outturn independent bottling.
About the Distillery
Inchgower is one of Speyside's less frequently encountered names as a standalone single malt, with much of its production historically destined for blending. Independent single-cask releases therefore provide enthusiasts and collectors with a relatively uncommon opportunity to explore the distillery on its own terms, particularly at natural cask strength.
