Produced at Springbank Distillery under the Longrow label, this 7 year old Longrow Red was matured initially in bourbon barrels before spending a further three years in Burgundy Pinot Noir wine casks. Bottled at natural cask strength, this heavily peated Campbeltown single malt combines earthy smoke, coastal character, and rich red fruit influence from the wine cask maturation. A limited release of 10,000 bottles.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Smouldering peat smoke, red berries, damp earth, coastal air, charred oak, and soft wine sweetness.
• Palate: Rich and oily with smoked fruits, dark cherries, peppery peat, toasted oak, subtle tannins, and maritime spice.
• Finish: Long and warming with lingering smoke, red fruit dryness, earthy peat, and gentle oak spice.
