About the Distillery
Nestled beneath the Cairngorms, Speyside Distillery has built a reputation for producing elegant, approachable single malts with a refined fruit-forward character. Fumāre offers a distinctive variation on that style by incorporating peated barley while preserving the distillery's trademark balance and finesse.
About the Bottling
Named after the Latin word for "to smoke," Fumāre was created to explore the marriage of Speyside fruitiness with restrained peat influence. Rather than overwhelming smoke, it delivers a measured balance of sweet malt, orchard fruit and gentle peat, making it an approachable introduction to lightly peated Speyside whisky. Bottled without chill filtration, each bottle is individually numbered as part of the 18,000-bottle release.
