Released as part of Diageo’s 2021 Special Releases collection, this 8 year old Talisker explores a particularly smoky expression of the Isle of Skye distillery. Drawn from heavily peated refill casks and bottled at 59.7% natural cask strength, it combines Talisker’s familiar maritime character with amplified smoke, pepper, salinity and youthful intensity.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Cereal and malt notes emerge through dense smoke, followed by briny sea air, coastal minerals and a restrained underlying sweetness.
• Palate: Full and energetic, with pronounced peat smoke, savoury salt, pepper, oily malt and a subtle sweetness beneath the maritime intensity.
• Finish: Long, warming and smoky, carrying persistent pepper, brine and drying coastal smoke.
