About the Bottling
This Auld Goonsy release pairs the character of Teaninich with an unusual first-fill Château Margaux wine cask finish. With just 207 bottles drawn from a single cask, its combination of limited outturn, cask-strength presentation and Bordeaux wine influence gives the release particular appeal for enthusiasts seeking distinctive independent bottlings beyond standard distillery releases.
About the Distillery
Teaninich is a Highland distillery whose spirit has historically played an important role in Scotch whisky blending, while official single malt releases have remained comparatively limited. Independent bottlings therefore offer collectors and enthusiasts an opportunity to explore the distillery's character through individual casks, particularly unusual maturations such as this Château Margaux-finished release.
